So I heard from somewhere you can make home made wax, instead of going out and buying a waxing kit. Does anyone have any input on this? What does it take?

I make my own sugar wax, I just heat up sugar, water, and lemon juice in a pot. (Just like making wet caramel)

Lexi, do you buy pack of strips to wax with or what do you use? I tried the sugar wax but the cloth/waxing strips I bought didnt stick well.

@Lara I used cloth ones too, or you could use the muslin strips. If it's not sticking well, try heating it up a little bit more, and sprinkle some baby powder on your skin before you apply the wax
