Hair extensions?? To be or not to be.

Silly question, don't laugh at me... So I'm a little confused. Hair extensions? Are they just to add some volume or would they naturally blend into a short cut and make it look like your hair was long?

They can be used for both :) they're bought by girls with shorter hair that want it to look long but girls with longer fine hair will get them and use them for making their hair look thicker too :)

Extensions can do a variety of things depending on the wanted effect. They can pretty much do what ever you want them to. For example, my aunt put extensions in my hair for junior prom.

That was to give me length.

The extensions I have now are braids and I'm using them for protective styling. Aka I don't have to do anything other then the minimum to my hair for the next two months. So no heat (which I wasn't doing anyway), my hands are out of it (I went natural not to long ago and I keep touching my hair which isn't all that good), no buying tons of products for upkeep, and my Sundays are regular days instead of hair days. And these make my hair grown quickly.
