Use a shampoo that is meant for hydrating your hair, I use Aussie Moisture and my hair is super soft. You can try an avocado hair mask, just mash up some avocado with a bit of olive oil and leave it in your hair for maybe 15 mins. Bubz Beauty has tutorials on YouTube for hair masks so I'd check that out :) going to the hairdresser every six months or so to at least get a trim will keep your hair healthy and silky, people always say every two but you don't need to got that often.

I use a diy hair mask of equal parts moisturising conditioner, honey and olive oil. I use it once a week overnight. It has chaged my wavey hair from dry and frizzy to forming loose silky waves as it air drys.
