How to use a shimmery bronzer?

I got a Bronzing Powder from MAC and I wanted to know if I could contour with a shimmery bronzer? I forgot to ask the lady while I was at the store so I have no clue. She said I could use it all over my face for a subtle glow but thats all I know. Can I also use the '3 shape' technic with it? (Temple, cheeks, jaw line)

I do the 3 shape only with my matte bronzer then I use the shimmer bronzer as a highlighter along my cheekbones,browbone area and cupids bow. Using a very light hand with both products so I don't look like a clown. I tried using my shimmer bronzer as a contour just to see how it looked.....when I saw myself in the mirror outside in natural light it wasnt a pretty sight. I looked like a disco ball.lol

Yeah, treat it more like a highligher.

Use the shimmer bronzer on the top of your cheekbones as it also serves as highlighter & gives ur cheeks contour & glow. Hope this helps :)
