I like to curl my hair with a straightener and I put it on 450 degrees, but I think that that's too high. What temperature should I put my straightener at?! What are you supposed to do?
Thanks guys!
XOXOXO

Okay, are you trying to do the least amount of damage?
Feb 7, 2014
Kiyomi K.
Yes, but I also don't want it to take forever to curl my hair!

Okay, well least damage would be the lowest setting. However, as long as you take care of your hair and use a good hear protector, it doesn't matter so much how hot it gets :)

Try heated rollers! I love mine. They take a
Minute to heat up and you just put them in which takes another minute and you can leave them on as long as you like. You get beautiful curls with them that last all day and no damage.

I curl my hair at 420 degrees. I don't think its that damaged for straightening or curling it almost everyday for like 4-5 years.

Thanks Hannah, and I do take care of my hair and use a heat protectant :)!
Thanks Kitty! I will definitely try that! What brand do you recommend and where can I buy them? Also how much are they :?
Thanks Kitty😘

Also my straightener is a ceramic ionic straightener from ProLiss and it says that it isn't bad for your hair to straighten and actually moisturizes your hair. I'm not sure if that's true but I hope it is :)! It's a $220 straightener so hopefully it does what it says lol.

Well I use mine on about 200 degrees but that's just because too much heat will damage your hair.

Ok thanks Zoah and Chanel :)

Kiyomi you can also do over night curls, sleep with them on and then take them out in the morning and style to your liking.

I have the ones by conair! I got jumbo sized ones for big Kardashian curls. If you YouTube conair heated rollers mommy friendly by rissrose2 you'll see how amazing they are! They have different sizes for different curls and some that are mixed. Mine was $27

450 is way too high. Use 300. It doesn't take long at all, but it doesn't damage your hair too much. You should always use a heat protectant.

Thanks Samantha! I do do heatless overnight curls, but sometimes I'm to lazy to do them and would rather do curls with a straightener which takes like 5min.!
Thanks so much Kitty I seriously have to try those! That's a very good price!!
Thanks Ruby :)!
