...for keeping make-up in place for longer? I've tried a sample of The Porefessional and really like how my foundation looks after I've just applied it but after a couple of hours my make-up looks cakey and has started sliding off in places... my skin's very dry and my make-up doesn't sink in nicely, it just seems to sit on top of my skin most of the time.
Additionally, what other brand primers are good (if not better) for the same thing?

Hourglass Veil mineral primer is probably one of the best primers out there. it is definitely on the pricey side, but absolutely worth every penny. my makeup looks amazing all day long.

It could be the foundation. I love PoreFessionals and I have super dry skin. But this is routine and the best for my skin.
1- Cleanse with CeraVe Hydrating Cleansers
2- Moisturize w/ CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion (this has been sooo good for my dry skin, I was previously using Cetaphil but this is better.
3- Primer (PoreFessional, Maybelline Baby Skin, Rimmel Fix and Perfect, Prime Time)
4- Clinique Even Better Foundation (also maybe try cream foundations) applied with Sephora Pro Airbrush #56 (loveeee this brush)
6- Hard Candy Glamoflauge (if needed)

I use porefessional primer with a benefit foundation (forgot its name) and like you I find after a few hours it starts to slip and my face looks oily. definitely wouldnt recommend to anyone!

Their stay flawless is amazing, you just have to apply it section by section but it literally makes my makeup last through school and work and the gym if I don't have time to wash it off

I've tried a couple of different foundations and it's still happened so I think it's just my skin more than anything haha. I'll definitely look into the CeraVe products though... and the Stay Flawless primer :) thanks everyone.
