Are you asking what a paraben is? If so, it's a preservative. It's found in most cosmetic products, as well as hair products and stuff like toothpaste. The thing is, if they're not using parabens to preserve their makeup, they're potentially using something more harmful. It's important to understand that parabens have been used in our makeup and health products for decades, and there's nothing wrong with them. Personally, I've been brushing my teeth twice a day since they grew in, and I haven't had any adverse effects from the parabens preserving my toothpaste. So don't worry about parabens, is my advice.

It shouldn't unless your skin is super sensitive but if you're worried about that, test some on the inside of your wrist or the back of your hand and see if anything happens after a little while.
