Honestly, YES! In my opinion make-up is suppose to enhance your beauty not to be used as a mask :)

The only time to use a lot of makeup is when your on film. Like television filming set or photo shoot, or for costume purposes. There is definitely a such thing as too much make up LoL.

Yes!! And sometimes I get a heavy hand and then look at myself and think- what was I thinking lol. I love makeup but I want it to look natural. If that makes sense lol. But I feel like when I go out at night I can def pull off the more made up look =D

honestly I think you should wear whatever makes you happy. if for you that's a lot of makeup then go for it, but yes of course there are levels of approprieteness for certain situations for example wearing a dark Smokey eye and red lip to a conservative office would be considered too much, and Full coverage foundation is probably not needed for your average woman on a daily basis, but at the end of the day its your face so you can wear whatever makes you happy :-)

It depends a lot on the situation. If I want to dress to impress at a gala, then I'm probably going to wear more makeup than normal. If I'm going to an fun party with a theme, then a dramatic eye is going to require more makeup. But I can see having something like EL's double wear foundation all over the face for an everyday look would be too much.
