Did anyone ever used benzamycin cream?

My doctor just prescribed this for my acne scars and my cystic acne but I was wondering if any of you had it before? And what was your experience? Thanks for the help (:

I havent used it but it sounds like a combination of benzoyl peroxide and minamycin which is a vitamin a derivative. I hope your doc has given you all the information- such as stay out of the sun/ reapply spf every 2 hoyrs if you are in the sun. minimal exfoliantion- basically you probably shouldnt do it because of the vitamin a, but it would also depend on the percentage. Are you on the pill or contraception? What's your age too? acne can sometimes be heritary but usually will calm down. Your hormones are probably a little out of whack. let me know if I can help you further.

Thanks a lot I'm 23 years old and no my doc didnt told me all that! And I am on contraception and the doctor told me that it didnt help with the acne, and yes it is a mix of two creams but I couldnt tell you which ones :s but yes if you have more information that would be helpful! Thanks a lot (:

I would onlu use the clarisonic like 1-2times a week. as that will gently exfoliant your skin and so will the cream so keep that minimal...if you irritated from it cut it back or stop. With the scarring if its the pitted type where it looks like a hole then unfortunately no, it might soften down a bit but if its brown/reddish scarring then yes...more than likely get rid of that over time. I'm using www.daviddeans.com.au and found it to be really good. I'm now working with that company.
