So I don't understand the concept of hair extensions! How can people wear them on a daily basis! It's so much added workđź™… maybe I just am not educated enough on them but seriously... Girls.. Why?!??

I wear them but it's not like clip ins where you have to take them in and out. I wear wigs and weaves and it's less work than my natural hair lol

@shelby but don't they get stuck in there? Or feel uncomfortable? Don't you worry someone will like touch your hair and accidentlly snag it lol I don't know I am a worrier I guess.

They make for great protective styling if you're trying to grow your hair out. Mine are braided in to my natural hair so you can't see my natural hair and it gives me some kind of length. Mine aren't any extra work at all, less work then my natural hair. Took four hours to put them in and my hair will be like this for three months (unless I take them out sooner). Just need to make sure to moisturize weekly and seal and deep condition. But compared to my normal hair regimen that's a breeze.

I love that you actually don't want to be ignorant and actually ask the question. Kudos to you. 👏👏 okay so I can't speak for everybody else but here's my story: I grew up in a salon with a hairstylist mom who doesn't even do hair extensions, she specializes in hair growth. So I had long hair, healthy all my life. I went through an eating disorder and my hair started falling out. On top of that I bleached it to go red. Bad combo. My hair was totally broken off. I was so ashamed, I made DIY clip ins extensions with some 8inch hair from Sally's. Then I went to "Hollywood High" where everything is glamorous. Everybody has the best hair, nails, makeup and clothes. I got so inspired by that environment that I went from trying to grow my own hair and hiding it in the process to a full blown hair extensions addiction lol its more work, yes. But so is keeping up that red hair you have. It takes longer in the morning to put on makeup rather than moisturizing and out the door. It takes time to do nails. Think about all the cosmetics we love and how inconvenient and expensive they are to us. But we still love them.

I started wearing clip ins a couple years ago after I decided to get a horrible haircut lol but I loved them ever since. my favorite part of the day is getting doing my hair and makeup so I don't mind putting them on as a part of my getting ready process. they're pretty secure and they're not uncomfortable unless you sleep in them.

I have heard stories of friends clip ins falling out in front of guys (after a good make out session or something better... haha) and some of them get embarassed esp if the guy sees this girl hai just fell out... like wtf... haha but I think it looks pretty and the more expensive ones look like your natural hair - but personally to me its like false advertising... you put on fake hair to make yourself look nice but at the end of the day when you take it off and your makeup you still want the person next to you to love you for who you are n how you look naturally so I personally am not into that also because I'm lazy n would rather get an extra hour or two of sleep than spend it getting myself ready in the morning - but if others feel the need for it then that's cool too esp if it makes your life n getting ready easier then more power to you but I'm with anney on this I personally don't rly see a valid reason for them just too time consuming... :P.

Its okay...my boyfriend hates to clean his truck and randomly one day found a piece of his exes weave and flipped out...hilarious...I've helped friends put them in I've used colored streaks for fun yeah it's a little extra work but so are those nails and eyes girl... its totally up to you you love them or hate them.
