Hi guys. This is my first post. I have really long hair...it's just above my hips. I recently got a haircut...long layers and layers framing my face. But it looks the same! I want something more exciting without losing my length...esp in the front. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Try some bangs either a side swept or straight across bangs they really make you look different so that's what I would suggest.

Otherwise you could try some color either highlights, ombré or all over color.

Thanks for your suggestions! Everytime I ask for bangs the hair stylist says that my forehead is so small that its not advisable. But I do like Jessica alba's haircut there...do you think it would work if I did the front like that but kept my length?

I think you can keep the length with long layers in the back but ask the stylist to blend the layers in the front with your side bangs so it flows naturally - I think it should go well with your current framing layers around your face.
