I've been thinking about getting a partial sew in but I really want to make sure it's the right choice for me. I don't know much about it so any links, or information you can give me as far as care tips ect will be great :)
I also really don't know where to buy the hair :\ price isn't really something I'm worried about I just want good quality hair that will last. What kind of hair do you recommend?

Btw I Really can't stand clip ins so please don't recommend those lol :)

Well the best type of hair for a sew in is anything that is virgin or remy hair, more preferably virgin human hair. You can always youtube virgin human hair and there should be multiple links for people reviewing for certain sites or companies it's usually how I pick where I'm going to get my hair.
as far as tips, the best thing to do is treat it like your hair. don't use too much heat or it will cause split ends and damage to the hair. also, be careful when you wash your hair and the extensions so that you don't tangle them.

I got remy hair from ulta. In straight...
The the sew in was the worst feeling thing I have ever done to my hair. It was bulky and awkward looking. You can only do your hair a certain way or the end of the braid shows... I only had it in for 2 days and I didn't even go back to the salon to remove it I had my mom snip the thread!

Malaysian, Peruvian, Indian ect. Is there really a difference? I've read things that they're basically all the same and they're just renamed... What's the deal? What kind is best?

The best is whichever you think would fit your hair best. Malaysian hair is supposed to be coarser in a sense while Peruvian is supposed to act another way in terms of likeness to hair. Indian is unviersal and is usually what goes around and people usually just slap another name onto it to pass it off as another. However, the best way to tell is through price. For me personally I use Malaysian hair and have yet to use another kind. I tried Indian remy hair and didnt like it. it was hard to blend my hair with it versus the malaysian which blends pretty well with my hair when I straighten it.

There is a difference in quality by brand... I do sew-in weaves for people... YouTube it.

The girls already give great hair brands/types. When you get your first sew-in your real hair will be annoyed, and it will make you want to scratch your hair all day or verb take the weave out. Bare with it that feeling won't last more than a couple days/weeks depending. You should also leave some of your real hair out in the front/semi-middle, sides and back. That way you can do more styles. Hope I helped :)

^ as Kamara said it will itch but if you make sure your scalp is moisturized or you put in like a leave oil treatment then you should be fine and itching shouldn't be much of a problem.
