Honestly, I've tried gel and liquid. I love liquid the best because I feel it's easier to work with and looks a lot neater.

As for what brand works best.. I love professional makeup. I use mostly all urban decay, too faced & makeup forever products, but to be brutally honest I have not found a professional brand if liquid liner I like. So I used the brand Almay you can get it at wal mart or wherever.. Honestly it works the BEST! Speaking from years of experience :)

I prefer liquid liner! Sumtyms I apply liquid liner first and then run a kohl over it so tht it stays on for long and looks more intense!
