I have honestly tried and tried to find the best foundation for years on end.. And finally I've found it!

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation - it hasn't broken me out AT ALL and coverage is buildable and lasts all day- doesn't look cakey and doesn't oxidize into that horrible orange tinge!
I find it looks best when applied with Bobbi's kabuki foundation brush and then set with their Sheer Finish Pressed Powder :)

Just wanted to share this with you all still struggling to find your perfect match!

I wouldn't say it's completely matte - it's very natural though and with the powder it's 100% matte. I always just use Benefit High Beam on my cheeks to make them look dewy :)
It's worth getting a sample from the counter for sure!
