How to find your natural hair color.

I'll be heading to bootcamp in a few months and were only supposed to have our "natural" hair color.
I don't want to have to spend a lot of money just to go to a salon, and maybe that's the best way to go? But is there another cheaper way I could do it myself? :) please let me know! Right now my hair color is dyed black and my natural hair color is a blonde. Thanks!

I believe their intentions are to have your hair a natural color - not the color you were born with.
In the police department, all officers are required to have their hair a natural color. No two toned, half black half blonde type of thing.
Assuming that is what they mean considering the Police department is paramilitary. I know a couple of soldiers and they weren't asked to dye their hair back to their natural color, but to have it as a natural color. I also know a couple of soldiers who are police officers, that have dyed their hair as well. As long as it's a natural shade, you'll be fine.

Okay. Well if you have black hair currently, try to lift it. You can use a store bought lifter or a vitamin c treatment (you can find recipes online). Once you've lifted it as much as possible, try to find a shade of blond that you think most closely resembles your hair. This is so that when your hair grows out, you can't tell the difference.

The thing is I want it natural because I'll be in bootcamp for 2 months, so I don't want my roots looking horrible lol.

Well when you'are hair grows it grows with its natural hair color so your can have someone look at your hair.
