Hey all! So I'm a big fan of the shimmer on the duck tear because first of all its beautiful* and I was told that it brighten the eye area, wakes you up..etc. However it doesn't on me :(
for some reason it makes me look tired, I feel that it draws attention to my concealed eye area :/... Am I the only one?
Would love to hear from you ladies :)

It all depends on the color you are using to highlight the tear duct area. I personally steer clear of anything that is a stark white. And I make to keep the shadow concentrated just in that area and not extended any further to where my bottom lashes start but I extend it just a bit onto my upper eye area blending it out so there is a smooth transition with the rest of my eye makeup. What brush are you using? I use the MAC pencil brush.

Agree with Shelley. I was making same wrong shade choice, optung for a stark white and not getting results. I also put it on inner corner above lashes and use pencil brush. Once I changed shade solved the problem.

I like to use a nude liner or a pale shimmering pink, cream, or gold.

I do it all the time with silver eyeliner. just line in the inner corners of your tear duct and it makes the reast of your shadow pop.
