So my hair is SUPER damaged from dying it like literally every week it was so dry looking and just felt straw like. so I dedcided to put regular mayonnaise and a little bit of olive oil in my hair then I wraped it up in a plastic bag for 3 hours and my hair is wayyyy wayyy more softer!! my ends feel great!! yeahh it smells gross but it really helped my hair and didnt cost me anything :D girlsss youu should really try thiss : )

What is regular mayonnaise...is it home made or I will get it from outside shop?? can you please tell me the brand name..I too want to apply because my hair has become too rough..m thinking to try this now..hop it works for me.

@Abha A., regular mayonnaise is the one you get on food stores, be careful with the odour cuz its got eggs although you can get a vegetarian version too.

I wouldn't get the vegetarian version. The reason that mayonnaise works is because it has proteins in it from the eggs, and fats in it from the oil. So theoretically, to get a better mask than putting mayo in your hair, you could just mix oil and eggs :)
