I've heard this gel can be used as a pretty good primer is this true?? Have any of you used this as a primer??

It's worked better than any drugstore primer I've tried. I seem to take just as much makeup off my face as I did when up was using my sample of the Smashbox primer. It's got the same ingredients and consistency, and it fills my pores well...surprisingly it works for me, as skeptical as I was at first.

It's not formulated as a primer, so your makeup will slide off easier than using no primer at all, it does make a smooth base, but if your makeup will only last for a few hours it's best to just invest in a quality primer.
