A Smokey eye can be any dark color faded to light,(Think of the steps of Fire to Smoke) Now it's dark fade to light as I have mentioned before also smoke bottom lash line.Their is No light Smokey eye,or Natural Smokey eye and there is No outer V ( Don't get the words Smokey eye confused with Smoke out Term it's two different things).which brings me to the Gradient style that has the V and many colors added to the look, all blended well to the transition with flow.If you notice for example WET N Wild has the 3 step eye shadow kits that is for the Gradient style or for what ever you choose but that usually helps you layer it all for that type of finish.Corner to Corner in a Horizontal slope is the lay out of the Gradient.
