are you supposed to use both foundation n bb cream?

If you use a good bb cream that works for you then you don't really need any foundation since bb cream is an all in one producy

I was wondering because someone on here I think said she used both so I was wondering if that would be too much or not lol

It depends on the foundation you apply on top of the BB cream. A lot of BB creams are made for more skin care benefits and priming, I tried it and loved how smooth it was! Try it :) hope this helps! <3

I like to apply my bb cream, then a light concealer under my eyes, then lock it in with a light powder. That way it will stay longer and give you a little more coverage so you don't have to use a heavy foundation.

i use the garnier bb for oily and im really pleased.it covers just great and i only add concealer where i need it and sometimes a light powder just to set my face.since i started using it my skin has improved as far as breakouts are concerned.my mac foundation didnt help much in that, besides it would oxidize during my day at work.bb cream is a life saver!

I hate Gariner's so-called BB cream. What an oily, smelly mess for me. I think if you have dry skin it works fine but for those with oily or combo skin it's really oily and messy.
As for the original question. Years ago a member here on Beautylish shared her tip - use BB cream as a primer over foundation or mix with foundation. I use BB cream as a primer for my mineral foundation and love it.
Just keep in mind Western BB creams are actually tinted moisturizer, in fact CoverGirl's BB cream was outed as their repackaged tinted moisturizer and a few other companies so-called BB creams are repackaged as well. If you want real BB cream stick to either the Korean or German brands.
