Can I shave my tummy hair? I've always been afraid because I'm scared it will grow darker an thicker. I don't know why but I've had slightly long dark hairs all over my belly button and the bottom of my back. I'm so insecure, and my friends noticed it the other day and told me I should shave it all off :/

I say either wax, or hair cream removal. I mean, you are trying to remove it because you have hair there, so sure it will grow back! but you can just remove it again! :)

Veet. No razor. It'll cause razor burn and skin discoloration.

I shave my tummy area and it doesn't grow back fast it takes a couple of weeks for me. Just be careful not to get ingrown hairs because they're a b.

I wouldn't risk shaving it. Most of the time it will grow back thick and fast and it is even more noticeable so if you really really want it gone wax or use lotion hair removers.

I am in school for cosmetology and that a myth!! Shaving something doesn't grow back darker and faster...people say that because shaving it doesn't remove the hair it just cuts off part we see. Nair and products like that are not good to use at all..they have ingredients in them that aren't good. I say waxing is your best bet.. Waxing won't get rid of it right away but keep going in and getting it waxed off every 4-6 weeks and eventually it will keep coming back less and less but it will be a process. Hope I helped so what and not just rambled...
