From the drugstore, I absolutely love Rimmel's Kate Moss Collection. They perform phenomenally, are a great price, and the packaging is quite nice for them being drugstore. I also really like the CoverGirl Lip Perfection lippies. The packaging is more "drugstore" looking to me, but still nice, and they are incredibly long lasting. MAC is usually a good choice, I only have a few of their lipsticks and I've found I like the Satin and Matte finishes the best. As far as higher end cosmetics go, I'd consider MAC to be among the more accessible/inexpensive brands. Packaging is pretty sleek and standard. If you wanna talk even more fancy, I'm newly obsessed with Illamasqua lipsticks. I only have 2 but I really love them. The packaging is so pretty and the color payoff is excellent. I think the best lipsticks are Guerlain but they are not reasonably priced. I really like Too Faced La Creme or lip of luxury by them as well I think they are around $20. how much are you looking to spend? for really affordable I love NYX

makeup forever Rouge Artist Natural are nice too they are $19. and its not a lipstick but I love OCC lip tars.

I love the packaging my urban decay lipsticks come in. The lipstick itself is nice and smooth and is really pigmented.

My lips tend to be pretty dry at times and I love MAC lipsticks 15.00 usually. And for drugstore Rimmel seem to work well. And Liza- guerlain is simply amazing....love that line! It's good to have at least one from a luxury line! Makes me feel pretty good:)

I love MAC lipsticks the most! The Rimmel Kate, NYX Matte, Revlon Super Lustrous, Revlon Matte, Maybelline Color Sensational, and CoverGirl Perfection lipsticks are great as well.

MAC's are legendary in performance - sure, not everyone is amazing, but 99.9% of their lippies are pretty sick :D I know Revlon makes some great rivals, but I firmly believe in what-you-pay-for is what you get if you want great performance!
Maybelline Colorsensational makes some nice ones, but they don't last as long and most are less pigmented.
I believe Illamasqua makes amazing lipsticks though! Will have to try 'em out!

For drugstore I find Revlon to be pretty great on quality and price. Some of the shades I discovered are dupes for the higher priced MAC. On the high-end spectrum I enjoy Hourglass lippies because the packaging, in my eyes, are like mini works of art. And the quality is top-notch.

I really like Nars, Fire Down Below and Lipstick Queen Medieval. Sephora has a color called Courtisane that I really think is the same color as Fire Down Below and it costs about $8 less. Clinique lipsticks are really good and moisturizing.
