I'm so confused... It makes it lighter right... And you do it in the summer right?

I have tried lemon juice on my naturally blonde hair to enhance my highlights. It doesn't make all of your hair lighter, but it may give you a few lighter highlights in your hair depending on how dark your hair is to start with. Plus, it is more effective in the summer, but you can do it anytime. Hope this helped :)

Would it damage your hair??

I would avoid direct sunlight right after because it may damage your hair slightly, but add a leave in conditioner to help prevent dryness and any extra damaging. Lemon juice just makes your hair more prone to damage.

I wouldn't recommend it. I tried using lemon juice in my hair and it dried it out

Same, but I used a leave in conditioner and it took care of it.

When I was little my mom used lemon juice on my hair to hold it (instead of hairspray) every day. For years, and nothing bad happen to my hair. I was under the sun a lot. I don't know if cus my hair is dark it didn't gets any lighter.
