Mascara reaching expiry date?

I've been using benefits there real since November everyday and over the past few days it's being to irritate my eyes, is it reaching its expiry date? There is still mascara in the tube and applys ok still just take an extra coat.

Mascara should be tossed out every 3 months so it is about that time now :)

@Jen, I would probably throw it out if it's just now irritating your eyes & is past the expiry date.

I'd say every 3-4 months depending how much you use it, once it starts getting dry and clumpy toss it ;)

If a mascara is older than 3 months I throw it away and one sign that it's really time when it starts drying out as well. never pump your mascara want because I heard it creates air and bacteria build up. eyes are sensitive and these bacterias can cause lots of issues in future. just take care :)
