Skirts? Weird to wear to a low key dance?

My school has SUPER LOW KEY dances. Like tee shirt and jeans dances. Do you guys think it would be weird if me and my friends all showed up in pencil skirts?? It's really out of character for us.

Slightly. Skater skirts maybe, but pencil skirts will stick out.

I think it would be awesome! Even if everyone else doesn't try super hard, why shouldn't you guys? That would be so cute. I've been to dances where I wore a pencil skirt and some girls wore jeans, but I felt fabulous!
