Should I dye my hair?

So I've never dyed my hair and I'm kinda getting tired of the same look... People has said to cut it short before but I hate short hair and I look stupid with short hair! Plus when it's behind me on my back it comes to about my tailbone and I love it because it's taken a while to grow it out. Anyways should I dye or get highlights in my hair? If I do what color? I can't deside! This is the only ok picture I have of my hair... Sorry if it's not good. I can't decide what to do! Thanks for your help!

I would go darker and do an ombré into a lighter brown. Use your natural hair color as the transition shade maybe?

I think you would look really pretty with a dark brown, kind if like Selena Gomez :)
