honestly, i like to take flash photos after i use powder to see if it shows off a white cast, and unfortunately this one did, as good as it looks :(
i suggest a slightly pigmented powder (yellow- ben nye if you dont mind spending) but something like that! regardless the elf one is very cheap, so wouldnt kill to try it!

Nope, leave me looking pale as a ghost! I would suggest Neutrogena shine control or Milan setting powder, neither of which leaves a white cast.

I wasn't a fan. If you're looking for something cheap I use rimmel stay matte and it works pretty good.

You have to REALLLLLLY blend it in to avoid looking like Casper the Friendly Ghost. I much prefer their Mineral Booster Face Powder. It leaves me looking airbrushed. Seriously.

Jeneen I dont recommend that powder for dark skin.
Try Ben Nye Topaz, Sienna or Chestnut.
OP - It is a bit powdery but its okay for a cheap alternative.
I would not compare it to MUFE hd though... Idk I see a difference.
I dont think it is economical though... Cheap but not economical.
Instead try Ben Nye Neutral set.. or RCMA Transparent powder. some much more grams of product per dollar.
Split it between you and your friends/sister etc if you think its too much product.
TKB trading sells about 1 ounce of 100% silica powder for like $7... Also rice powder.
So basically with MUFE HD you are only paying for packaging.

Trick is to Use a setting powder that doesn't contain an SPF.. I love the elh HD powder for photo shoots but when u take pics on a regular camera it leaves a white cast

MUFE HD powder is just overpriced silica powder. You can buy an ounce of the stuff on Coastal Scents or TKB Trading for about 1/10th the price MUFE charges for 1/3 ounce.
e.l.f.'s is a blend of silica and dimethicone. If you use very little it won't flash back. So you can use it for photos; you just have to be careful.
I did use e.l.f.'s for a while but currently I prefer NYC's loose powder (translucent; 1.2 ounces for about $3!).

Just add a cheap loose powder foundation if it leaves you looking like a ghost.
