Into: Colorful smokey eyes, bold lips, falsies, platform heels, oversized purses, big hair, neons, pastels, floral prints, distressed denim, skater dresses, peplums.
Over: leggings with tops that don't cover your butt (I mean really, let's be a little classy), smokey eyes that aren't smokey eyes and are really just gradients (I'm so tired of seeing those post), designer this designer that (should I be impressed that you spent half of my rent money on a purse?), ombre hair (I think everyone is over that), and not everyone one can be a blonde, it just doesn't work for some people (except you Symone, it would be gorgeous on you :))

Mikayla who cares if it's "too much for day time". if it's cute I don't care what people have to sayxD.

You tell them Hannah lol (including me. Winged liner before it was a "thing" almost 5 years ago, scarves...crop top, high waist shorts- Okay those can go wrong on the wrong person fast)

Lol I just have a lot of opinions. You can do whatever you want (including pull off winged eyeliner like a champ!) but doing things for the sake of trendiness is absurd to me :)

Over: everyone's opinions. do what you want to do, wear what you want to wear. if it makes you feel good go for it.

Trends are trends everyone follows them.

To be fair, while opinions and trends are similar in that they can change and are sometimes ridiculous, there's no way that opinions are going away, and everyone has a right to voice theirs.

Opinions may never leave but just like trends, they also change.

I don't know why people get so mad about people saying trends they don't like. not everyone likes the same things? if you don't like opinions, why open the thread?
anyways, I don't like overalls, timberlands, camo, beanies, everyone wanting to be blonde, clothes with sayings like "swag" & whatnot, the whole cross/mustache/infinity sign craze, & I think that might be it.
I like pastel colors, skater skirts, litas, unnatural hair colors (I've been obsessed for like 5 years lol) I like crop tops, hats (I don't know hat names), leggings, 50's style, & that's all I can remember lol.

That's fair to say, Lauren. I meant fashion scarves- the ones that don't keep you warm and are just sort of there. Like I said, everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I truly find it to be the epitome of underwhelming to walk through my college campus and be the only one just wearing jean shorts and a t shirt, instead of high waisted shorts or crop tops or leggings or whatever it is. It's extremely weird.

Besides which, most people like unnatural hair colors but don't have the guts to do it, so it's still relatively unique to the real world.

That's how I feel. Idk, trends immediately repel me as a personal thing. For example, my hair used to be dip dyed purple, which faded to basically a perfect, natural ombré, and when ombré became a real thing I immediately dyed my entire head something else because the thought of participating in trends is really off putting to me, personally.
