Fish plaits are even easier to do than regular plaits, but take a bit longer.
1. Divide the hair into TWO sections.
2. Take a piece of hair from the left section (preferably the outside part as it works better) and add it to the right section.
3. Do the opposite on the other side- take a piece from the outside of the right section, and add it to the left section.
Aaaaand repeat! :)
