Is there a real difference between bb and cc cream?

They just seem very alike. Do they actually produce noticeably different results?

Uhm they're supposed to have differences and they slightly do, but overall they are supposed to replace foundation and correct.

CC generally stands
for?color correcting? and the products
are meant to address issues like
redness or sallowness (usually with
light-diffusing particles), whereas BB
creams are like lighter foundation with
a few skin care benefits thrown in.?CC
cream is a color corrector and will be
lighter on the skin [than a BB cream],?

Bb - beauty balm/ blemish balm ( designed to be a tinted moisturizer type product with the added benefits of skincare)

cc cream - colour correction cream ( for colour correcting, for example if you have redness a green tinted cc cream would correct that) :)
