I have heard some line-fillers that fill wrinkles well, some that don't, and have heard there are some that will even fill acne scars. Does anyone know of any that work well and might even fill acne scars?

Can I ask you what you've tried? Smashbox has made a specific primer for filling acne scars but I don't know if you've tried it yet. I recommend going to get a samples of primers and other products at your local sephora or beauty retailer. There's also the permanent solution but I'm assuming you're using it for under your foundation.

I agree with Lauren, a good primer should be an important part of your make-up routine. A silicone based primer can be your best friend when it comes to inconsistencies in the surface of your skin. Smashbox has some that usually do the trick. It all depends on the type of scarring, of course. There are pigmented scars, which are usually just reddish marks left behind from damaging acne; and then you have the actual impressed scars. If it's a pigmentation issue, i like a nice color correcting primer, again silicone based (there can be slight impressed scarring associated with pigmented acne scars) just in case! I do, however prefer a lighter micro-silicone such as the formula in Stila's color correcting primer. Some of the Smashbox primers, though effective, can sit heavy on the skin..something that I find doesn't personally work well with my skin. On the contrary, if you have deeper indented scarring the Smashbox primers work very well. I've also heard some good things about Sephora's wrinkle filling primer...it's a bit mattifying as well, which can help with oil control. However, as great as all of these products may be, you have to get to the source of the problem. What do you do as far as your skin care routine? Also, are you just dealing with scarring or are you still experiencing problems with acne? Hope I can be of some help! Good luck!
