It all depends on the amount of coverage you want. BB creams are a notorious all-in-one product, comparable to a tinted moisturizer. BB creams usually don't deliver on the coverage factor, but if you're just in search of a nice one step product that does it all BB creams could be an option for you. They're advertised as (topically) a complete skin care routine, serum, primer, moisturizer, foundation....all in that one little tube. Personally I prefer foundation. My skin can be very sensitive so i tend to stick to moisturizes that i've found work with my skin the best, and then move onto primer, foundation and concealer or whatever you so desire. A bit more work, but for me it pays off. However, with all the rage with BB creams nowadays, a lot of companies have started producing CC creams. These usually have a color correcting aspect, meaning better coverage in some cases. They're the evolution of BB creams. Something to look into!

Wow CC cream sounds promising! Anyhow to answer the question, i prefer foundation bacause of it's coverage and wide selection of color. I am a bit tan and the color range of bb creams is not really a good match.
