How often should you exfoliate to avoid drying out skin?

I do it 2x a week. Many beauty magazines, estheticians, etc recommend twice a week. So far, so good.

once or twice a week. but if u have oily skin u should exfoliate daily WITH A SOFT SCRUB(like Loreal 360 products) because of all the daily oil to prevent breakouts. the key is a soft scrub.your skin can handle a daily scrub if u have oily skin.

Ouch!!! Exfoliating daily is not healthy for the skin. Eventually leads to premature aging. Its best to exfoliate once a week. Too much of a good thing can backfire on you.

it depends which scrub your using and skin type.if ur dry then one or two times a week is enough but if your oily you can scrub every other day.dont use anything too harsh.clinique 7 day scrub is amazing and gentle enough for every day use also dermaligica microfoliant is good.ive worked for both brands and as a beauty therapist iv tried eveything but im quite oily but these have been the best scrubs ive tried that r super gentle for all skin types x
