I'm trying to decide what the best top of the line brushes are. The two that seem to be the most popular are Rae Morris and Hakuhodo but no one compares them. Does anyone own both brushes and have a preference? Which is better quality?

my favorite high end brushes are: Hourglass, Branded J and Christopher Drummond. I only use synthetics so never tried those brands you mentioned
