What haircut should I get?

I have wavy hair cut in layers coming down to my hips. it looks really nice but I am sooo bored with my hair now. the hairdresser I usually go to tells me the only way to go is if I get all the layers cut off and get a straight cut. I really don't want to do that. I took so much trouble to grow it this long. any ideas?

I'm not sure if I understand completely, it sounds like you don't wanna cut your hair. But if you do want a cut there are lots of cuts for layers, I got a bob right now, it comes down to my shoulders and I got lots of layers! you could also go for something a bit longer if you don't wanna go that short, maybe just cut it up to the middle of your back, that way your can still keep the layers :)
