Are face primers important?

I've never used a face primer but I'm wondering if you guys think that primer is important? I'm not quite sure what it does or how it helps aha :)

I see a difference in my makeup when I use a primer. It always makes it look more smooth if that makes sense. And it gives your foundation something to hold onto, and acts as a barrier between the foundation and your skin! If you don't, I would start giving it a try! You'll love the difference!

Face primers are important because if you have dry, sensitive sky and you put on foundation or BB Cream it will look all flaky. I learned that the hard way by getting made fun of at school.

Personally I think so. It makes my makeup look so so much better when I use primer!! I would try it out:)

I feel that face primers are important because when you think about this way when you put makeup along on your skin your pushing it into your pores and your skin so your making your pores bigger and adding dirt into your skin so when you add a primer you make a wall separating your face makeup and your skin and you also allow your makeup to look more flawless

Yesss they eliminate seening an pores and makes it stay on even and longer. I honestly think it's the most important like why even put make up on with out it lol

Personally a primer is a must for my skin! But if you don't need it, then why bother? My foundation looks 20 times better with a primer and it makes it last longer? Now not all primers are the same either, because I have had some that were horrible and made my skin look worse. And for eyes I think a primer is a must for everyone!
