I agree, olive oil alone or Vaseline alone. Ive never tried but mixing them together might have double impact. (;

Really any oil would work well (Olive, Coconut, Castor just to name a few), however since Jojoba Oil is similar to the oil our skin produces naturally, that would probably be the best oil to use.

Yup, any oil will work fine. Just massage a dab into your eye area, massage it in, and gently wipe off.

Jojoba oil

I use a recipe I found online and use an empty cetaphil squirt bottle (sterilized) to store it in
1/2 cup of purified water (I use Rose Water)
1 tablespoon of Baby Shampoo ( I use this or Dr. Bronner's castile soap)
1/4 tsp of coconut oil (you can use olive oil too)

Stir it vigorously and pour it into the container you wish to store it in and it's ready for use. I read on the original post (http://thatswhatwesaid.net/2012/09/diy-makeup-remover/) that a lot of people were concerned about the coconut oil solidifying and for me it has not and we keep our house at roughly 75 degrees for reference. I have used it on very heavy makeup and it removes it all in one swipe without having to scrub my face raw. No irritation, no burning, no breakouts after about a month and trying it both ways.

Hope that was helpful!
