I've been biting my nails since pre.k , & I havent bit my nails for 3 days so far. Thats not long, but for me when it comes to biting my nails it is. I really want to stop but it's so hard. Every time I get bored, nervous,or sad I bite. Pretty much any mood, but I want to stop. Any suggestions to help?

Make yourself only bite one hand, then narrow it down to one finger. Soon you should outgrow that finger.

Don't want to go repeating the great suggestions that are already there but what I did to stop biting my nails was, I either put on fake nails or I'd paint my nails.
Or you can always tell yourself that its ok to bite your nails, its good for you, how else are you going to get your daily intake of bits of dirt and bugs? :P

This is a scientific fact
There's more germs and bacteria under your nails than there is on a toilet seat 😷🚽

I did for years! Wear false nails for a while, you will stop. and not the ones that pop right off. get acrylic or gel.
