it depends on the foundation and what kind of coverage you want. generally speaking Iike using the beauty blender sponge best. I also like the urban decay optical blurring brush and I use it in a buffing motion on the skin

FINGERS are good because it goes on smoother & it helps with blending the foundation for a more NATURAL look..&& it helps with preventing putting on TOO much.......another Applicator is a Q_TIP..this helps with covering up Blemish,Bump etc

To get the most even look I would use a really dense buffer brush like the MAC 109, and blend it out really good. I honestly wouldn't recommend using your fingers because it won't really blend that foundation into your skin no matter how much you rub. You could also use a beauty blender, I like to spray mine with fix + is just makes the foundation so much easier to blend. All you need is a good buffer brush!

I love using a brush. it makes for less mess, and more coverage. And it keeps my hands off my face

I use something called a beauty blender, which is an egg shaped sponge. they are very popular and work wonderfully! they withstand being washed, and they don't leave lines like brushes usually do! they are 19.95 and you can get them from sephora!

Samira, go to Sephora! It's pricey but that is my all time fave foundation and it is worth every penny!!

Hailley, that is way too much for one of those sponges! They have the exact ones on Amazon for like $5!! All you're paying for is the "Beauty Blender" name and that's why it's so expensive!

I find that using my fingers is best for my oily skin. It melts the product right into my face & never fails to create a soft natural look.
