I clean my makeup brushes with baby shampoo but I ran out and I need to clean my brushes today...what's a good alternative??

I use dish liquid and olive oil. It works great

I'm a make-up artist so my brushes always have to be spotless, I have found that the best thing to use as a bush cleaner is anti-bacterial washing up liquid as it kills all bacteria and also leaves them pristine and good as knew :)

I use shampoo, it has alcohol in it though so it's anti bacterial. I find that it leaves it better than regular soap and takes less time to clean. I usually follow up with conditioner to leave them really soft. ♥

Well this probably won't up but I use baby shampoo too but I sometimes use my makeup remover face wipes and lightly wipe them off. It's not bad on the brushes because face wipes aren't super harsh and it's just temporary use. But I'd try what Holly suggested too to be on the safe side.

I use dish soap for my eye brushes.. and olive oil and dish soap for my face brushes…(olive oil breaks up the cream buildup off foundation brushes n what not)
