Hey girls! & guys! Okay so I have extremely dry skin. It's starting to flake. I need a moisturizer (one i could get at target, preferably, I live on the shore of jersey, works been slow since sandy hit) that will really hydrate my skin. I have a nose ring (got it done early July) so I need one that won't irritate that.
Any life Davies?!

any rich moisturizer works, but at night put a thick layer of olive oil on your face and your skin will be super hydrated when you get up! Also exfoliating with olive oil and sugar helps get rid of dry, dead skin while moisturizing.

Sorry, I bang on about this everywhere :) but PLEASE try oil cleansing & use it as your moisturiser for a bit too, until your skin settles down.
You'll need something nourishing, but you should be able to get something in a grocery store as its technically good! Try avocado, olive oil, rice bran, grapeseed or jojoba (if you can find it). Add some vitamin e oil maybe or some glycerine (a couple of drops, find it cheap at the chemist).
Rub a penny (dime? lol) sized amount between your hands, smooth it on your face. Hold a warm facecloth on until it cools. Wipe, repeat. A few drops after to moisturise on a damp face.
Hope life is settling down there.

Olive oil is a good suggestion but I wouldn't put a thick layer. It's not necessary. A thin layer rubbed in will do the trick.
You can also try pure vitamin e oil. It's sticky so you wanna put it on when you won't be going anywhere for the night, and id pull your hair back too.
