If you've had the polish for awhile it probably means it's old and ready to throw out. But if it's a color you just can't imagine tossing, put a few drops of nail polish thinner- NOT nail polish remover, it'll ruin whatever polish is left- in the bottle and shake. Good luck!

You can buy nail polish thinner at beauty supply stores!

Or, if you don't have any nail polish thinner than nail remover works fine. It will eventually ruin the nail polish, but if it's ruined anyways than you might as well get another few uses from it.
