Ladies!! I cannot seem to get this right. I've heard it works wonders on all hair types and have done much online research. I slept with it in. I left it it for an hour. I didn't put it on my roots. But no matter what, I'm left with a greasy mess. And I can't really tell if it's had a benefit.
I love coconut oil and use it as a facial moisturizer and as a cooking oil of course. But is it just not meant for my hair? Or is there still hope and I am just missing something?

Sometimes it gets oily if you use too much oooorr your scalp may produce enough oil already it doesn't need oily treatment

Well of course I shampoo after. I think I tried shampooing twice one time. But then I feel like so much shampoo defeats the purpose. Who knows. I think I will just try a different kitchen product! They're fun 😊

A good rule of thumb for coconut oil is a little goes a long way... my hair tends to get a lil oily so I only leave it on for 10 or 15 min before I wash & after I use a bit more as a leave in
I love coconut oil jjus started using it only about 2weeks ago & I wish I would have started it earlier! hope you find a way for it to work for you
