Ok so I am debating on what to buy myself. I HATE my luminess airbrush system and I am looking to find a airbrush gun and compressor that can push through a liquid/cream foundation. Or should I purchase new makeup brushes. I Don't know which to purchase and I need help.

If you buy just a regular airbrush (not one with cartridges or from any type of beauty brand - or anyone that allows you to mix your own foundation) you can spray your own liquid foundations through if you thin it with witch hazel. Get it to the consistency of soy milk and after just make sure you spray just witch hazel through to clean it and avoid clogging. That's how they taught us to do it when I was in school for special effects makeup. It makes it a lot easier because you can mix your own colors and use different products. It's usually just a matter of finding a solution that is suitable for thinning the product with :) obviously it has to be safe to be sprayed on/near people lol.

But brushes would definitely be cheaper in the long run. And probably a little more practical. I don't do airbrush makeup very often and even more rarely on myself. I'd invest in a good brush set for now. I love Real Techniques. They are affordable, versatile and really high quality. I basically use nothing else anymore.
