On the back of you neck is a good place but remember it hurts more on the muscle then the bone but on the back of neck could be shown or hidden when you want to! Goo luck

I was going to suggest a similar place to where Rebecca l has shown a picture of. Or along the collar bone. I have 3 tattoos. One on the right side of my lower back...ok it takes up most of my love handle. One small one just under my collar bone and one quite big one stretching over the left side of my rib cage. I wouldn't say one hurt more than the other. Depends on your personal pain threshold. It was more an annoyance than anything for me. However when I got the one on my ribcage, the closer he tattooed to my underboob the more I felt the pain shoot through the nerves. :)
