Its good, but I'd blend a little more and maybe add a darker color on the outer v for more dimension.

Oh and maybe use a primer on your lids so the colors show up better.

It's a cute look? But a smokey eye is more of a dark to light kind of thing! Hopefully Ms. Jackie comments, or alma or Hannah! They give the greatest advice! They helped me master the smokey eye! You should check out Robert Jones on YouTube! He gives great tips on how to do it! And the tutorial is really easy to follow!

Thanks ladies I could use all the help I could get. And sorry about the picture quality I have terrible lighting in my room. Plus I was trying not to use such harsh colors like black I tried greys instead. I probably shouldn't have called it a smokey eye. Plus I promise that the lines don't look half as harsh in real life.

Smokey eyes are generally dark colors hence the "smokey"! But you can use other colors that aren't black, like dark brown, navy blue, dark purple! But a classic smokey eye is black!

I feel the same way!! I feel like the black smokey is really harsh but it is really light on you. Add more on the v, bring it more in and blend. Try not to divide it straight in half. Diagalol line!

And usually I do dark blue smokey eye. From the v darkest blue to medium blue to teal blue to light blue then the inner part of my eyelid is whitish shimmery color. And it's all blended!! Make sure to use brushes too. Like fingers are fine, but preferably not for smokey eye (:
