I want to get my daughter into makeup, she has blue eyes like her daddy. What colors would look best on her? Do you ladies need a picture of her or her eyes? She's 6. And don't worry I keep my makeup away from the kids and locked up for the most part lol.

Save this thought for when shes 15. Shes way too young for any of this.

I'm sorry Michele I have too agree with some f the girls, and its really not too be rude! But I think 6 years old is way too young for makeup, even if its just for playing, wait until she's at least 10-12 years old and the let her start playing around a bit!
For now, let her skin be fresh :)

He will grow out of that fascination, his still so young that it's exciting because mommy does it and because it's like crayons that you can paint your face with! There is no need to worry about that, and no need to worry about your girl not being interested in it yet, it will come :)

I loved makeup at six! There are a lot of geared for little girl play makeup. Lil gloss and glitter never hurt! I wouldn't let her wear it to school or everyday but a lil play time is fun. My granny used to paint me up lips and all. My lil bro let us put makeup on him lol. He's super masculine now he just liked the attn. We played with face paints all the time growing up boys n girls. Cat faces and fake freckles are fun!

Keep it pale and natural - teach her about the beauty she has without make up and when she is older how to use it to accentuate what she had rather than cover it up with slap x

If your son loves makeup, he could be the next kevyn aucoin, Robert Jones, or Nathan Johnson. let them be who they are.

In my opinion warm colors make blue eyes pop, but you can use most colors.
I agree with the "too young" gang though... But it's ok as long as it's a game you play. My son is 4 years old and he has been very much into nail art the past six months, but it's turning now. My daughter who's 1,5 years old plays with my makeup brushes, but it's just because they seek my company. They want to be part of the fun, if that makes sense?
Have fun playing, only please don't force it on them. Let them play and learn on their own 😉

I like to wear whatever colors I want :) But always best to start with neutrals, which shows how to do a natural look, and then they can learn how do to good bright looks

I do agree with the age thing, but mostly because you didn't say that she was asking to.
If she wants to play with makeup, then I think it's ok to play a little, but if she doesn't want to don't push it :)

I didn't really get into makeup until my 20's, she'll either like it or she won't, and if she wants to give it a try you'll be there to help her out!
