Well, what do you have to organize in so far? If you have drawers, an easy thing to do would be to cut cardboard boxes into dividers and decorate them (with colorful or patterned paper, markers, etc.). If you want jewelry storage, buy a picture frame and replace the back and glass with metal mesh to hold your earrings and stuff. Shoeboxes with DIY dividers work, so do other types of cardboard boxes.

Buy mason jars or a empty mason jar from your kitchen, spray paint it put marbles in and use it as a brush holder thingie majig.

For brush storage, buy a box and fill it with empty toiletpaper rolls standing up straight. keeps the brushes standing up and its so easy :)

I use a craft storage box for my personal kit. It looks sorta like a fisherman's tackle box and it works out great! The only thing I don't like to store in it is my brushes which I like to store upright.
