I use Neutrogena's Oil Free Moisture normally, but in the winter, skin usually needs a heavier moisturizer.

Olive oil is seriously the only thing that works for my dry skin!

I personally love the Korres moisturizers, but I've also heard amazing things (from Kitty K) about the CeraVe cream in the tub. People rave. It's heavier and thicker on your skin, so it moisturizes better than a thinner cream.

Don't forget to exfoliate your skin with a mild facial scrub 1-2 times a week! This is the most common problem behind our customers that have dry skin at the SPA I work at. If you don't exfoliate the dead skincells off, the moisturizer you use, however amazing it is, won't reach the deeper layers of the skin. And it is in the deeper layers that the skin developes its own moisture and balance. So have that in mind before trying expencive moisturizers and cremes to try and cure your dry skin. Same goes for oily/combonation skin!

I've always had really good luck with the ShiKai Borage Therapy line for my dry skin, and Michelle is absolutely right about exfoliating.

Nivea extended moisturizer. Use it right when you get our the shower and your skin is still wet. Pat dry and apply another layer combined with baby oil gel. It works wonders for me and I have really dry skin in the winter.
