I always get ingrown hairs when I shave. Now they are getting gunk in them. I've tried everything from shaving lotion to exfoliating. Any other ideas?

Try not to press the razor down very hard when you're shaving.

Clean the area first with rubbing alcohol to help prevent infection then apply antibacterial cream after shaving make sure you pat dry the area and not rub then apply the cream.

I have the same problem...mainly on my thighs...I feel so terrible:(((
